3Point Capital Partners, LLC (“3Point”) is a private equity firm based in Short Hills, New Jersey specializing in leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations of small to middle-market growth companies. 

The uniqueness of 3Point is that our equity capital is provided by a handful of seasoned executives with operational backgrounds (“Investment Partners”), most of whom are interlinked through their involvement as founder, key members of management, or members of the Board of Directors of SBR, Inc.  SBR, Inc, which was acquired by Fortune Brands, Inc. during 2006, was the parent company of Simonton Windows, a major vinyl window manufacturer, Hy-Lite Products, the leading manufacturer of acrylic block windows, Fypon, a polyurethane moulding and millwork company, Dixie Pacific, a manufacturer of columns, and SimEx, a vinyl extrusion company.  The backgrounds of the Investment Partners include leadership at every level of the life cycle of a company from its formation to middle-market status to its acquisition

When making investments, 3Point focuses on small to middle-market companies, typically with enterprise values from $10 Million to $100 Million.  3Point invests only in companies within industry sectors in which the Investment Partners have substantial expertise that may be leveraged to create additional shareholder value through superior returns.  As the Investment Partners invest substantial personal capital directly in the equity of the portfolio companies, 3Point is highly focused and committed to partnering with management to ensure success.
